The protagonist was recently forced to escape the capital and return to the distant small town where he or she was born. The character finds it destroyed and has to fight and work hard to rebuild it and restore its power.

Gameplay

The player controls the protagonist from the first person view in the portrait (vertical) layout of his or her device. He or she can use either virtual dual sticks or tapping for controls. The protagonist uses various melee and ranged weapons as well as spells. Besides fighting, the player must help in rebuilding the city in the town building mode.

Modes

The Elder Scrolls: Blades features several game modes. The Town mode is the story campaign centered around the protagonist's hometown. In Abyss mode, the player enters a dungeon and faces never-ending attacks of wave after wave of enemies that become progressively stronger.
