The moment of truth came when Musk casually admitted, in a conversation with popular streamer NikoWrex, that he shares his account with others a direct violation of POE2's terms of service.

The game's rules explicitly prohibit account sharing, but what happens when the violator is a billionaire celebrity? The gaming community is now buzzing with anticipation over how the developers will respond to Musk's admission. Some argue that he should face the same penalties as any other player, while others believe exceptions should be made for someone of his stature.

As for me, I’m not bothered by Musk sharing his account or buying gear with his wealth. What does irk me is his apparent lack of preparation for his public gaming moments. If you're going to livestream or flaunt your Diablo 4 character on TV, at least know how to read the POE2 endgame map or acknowledge the teamwork behind your progress. Transparency matters, even when you're a billionaire.
