Career

Soule starter his career in the gaming industry in the early 90s. The first project he wrote a score for was 1995 action role-playing game Secret of Evermore published by Square. Since then he has been working on numerous projects from different developers and publishers. Some of his most notable works are The Elder Scrolls series, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Neverwinter Nights and Icewind Dale among others.

Style

In his works, Soule frequently uses full orchestras. The composer himself stated that some of his main influences are classical composers. However, many of his soundtracks incorporate elements from various music styles and genres from ethnic music and folk to Japanese pop and contemporary electronic music.
