Sony officially announced the free Essential games for February 2026 today, and it’s a packed month. Instead of the usual three titles, subscribers are getting four games covering a wide range of genres—from the boxing ring to the depths of a frozen ocean.

The following games will be available for download starting February 3, 2026:

• Undisputed (PS5): This month’s headliner. It is the most realistic, licensed boxing title to hit consoles in over a decade. Featuring over 70 fighters (including legends like Muhammad Ali and Tyson Fury), you can experience strategic, physics-based combat that rewards timing and footwork.

• Subnautica: Below Zero (PS4, PS5): Dive back into planet 4546B, but this time, prepare for a chill. Set in a freezing arctic region, you must survive extreme temperatures, build underwater habitats, and uncover the mystery surrounding your sister’s disappearance.

• Ultros (PS4, PS5): A psychedelic "Metroidvania" with a breathtaking, surreal art style. The game blends fast-paced combat with a unique loop-based mechanic involving gardening and world-tending, all set within a strange alien landscape.

• Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS4): As a special bonus this month, Sony has added this hit aerial combat simulator. If you’ve ever wanted to sit in the cockpit of a fighter jet and pull off breathtaking maneuvers in the clouds, this is the game for you.
